As a new venture, Taste of Bath recognised the need for an impactful marketing campaign to hit the ground running. They came to us to develop a launch campaign and drive sales of their hampers to businesses in Bath. With their ethos being to showcase Bath’s outstanding food and drink artisan creators, they are passionate about championing small, independent producers and connecting them with the right customers and businesses.
As with all of our clients, one of our first steps was to organise an in-depth workshop with Taste of Bath to understand their offering. We wanted to determine what sets them apart from their competition and promote their points of difference to generate more effective results. Following this, we developed creative concepts and a hook for the launch campaign, ‘Lifting the lid on Bath’s best kept secret’. Using persona-based research, we combed through data to find and target the most relevant Bath business owners and leaders and added them to the newly created database, sending them targeted email campaigns. Identifying the right people and targeting them with the right offer proved very successful, as the networking launch event was a hive of buzz and activity with a room full of engaged local business owners enthusiastic to learn more about Taste of Bath.
